Jaded... who, me?

Okay, I've been told that I was jaded, again, about my work. What? I'm jaded about my nursing career? Hmmm... yes I am but I'm on denial. Been in denial for years. Changing hospitals every now and then tend to help me refocus and it helps a lot. Doesn't do much on the retirement account but tell me who has a decent retirement now a days. If the company can find a hole in your performance, they will fire you 2 weeks before your retirement.

I was also told by a cousin of mine that I'm jaded with relationships with the opposite sex. This is a complex issue and I believe people has written books and earned PhDs talking and writing about this subject so who am I to blog about it. I just found it difficult to start a relationship then I find out that the woman in a psycho. Too much invested time and emotional energy goes to nothing. Dating is the most unenjoyable activity there is. It's a costly exercise that always end up in nothing.

Buying a digital camera on the other hand is a fruitful endeavor. Damn, those babies are light and I don't think of developing film the next day. If the composition is bad or the lighting sucks, delete the bastard. Bwahahaha. Now, I can spend thousands on a camera system and be damn happy about it. Photography is a great hobby. I know a lot of great guys who are into it. Yup, just like me, a couple of grand worth of multicoated glass that wrapped in thick metal that focuses light onto a sensor is more exciting than flushing the money down the toilet as in during a date. Checkout the memory in these cameras. SanDisk 1Gigabyte Extreme III. The fastest read write CompactFlash card at this time. Hundreds of shots in one card. Huhhh, I can't breath. The lenses are silent ultrasonic motors with internal focus, wickedly fast, tack sharp. Now that's what I call love. Bwahahaha.

So, anyone tells me that I'm jaded will be slapped, backhanded and kicked in the ass. Keep your stinking opinions to your self cause I know about it. No one needs to remind me. Lets talk cameras and lenses. They relax me. Hey, how about those image stabilized lenses?...(fade to blue)
